Professional Statement

Dr Raj is a graduate of the University of Virginia and received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Raj completed his pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia where he won the Philadelphia Pediatric Society Resident Award given to the outstanding graduating resident. After residency, Dr. Raj worked as a pediatrician in New Orleans, Louisiana and at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children in Virginia, where he served as an assistant professor in the pediatric department, before returning home to New Jersey to raise his family. He is a multiple year NJ Family Magazine Favorite Kids Doc. He has admitting privileges at St Claire’s Hospital in Denville. Dr. Raj and his wife have three children. Dr. Raj is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr Raj has been so great with helping us dechiper colds from allergies as we often struggle with how to treat the symptoms. He also helps with ways for my hesitant toddler to be comfortable with the doctor. Gives great recommendations for specialists

    A doctor beside knowing his profession should also be polite and make any patient feeling safe and assisted. This person is absolutely rude and doesn’t even apply the basic of what his profession should be.

    Dr. Raj is the best pediatrician you could ask for. He always addresses our questions and concerns. The best part of having Dr. Raj as our pediatrician is that our son is always happy and comfortable around him.
