Matthew Ajaj, DO

Dr. Matthew Ajaj was born and raised in Oak Ridge, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey before obtaining his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.

During his fourth year of medical school, Dr. Ajaj completed a sub-internship at Overlook Family Medicine, where he was drawn to the welcoming, academically focused environment and went on to complete his residency training there. During his final year of residency, he served as Academic Chief.

Dr. Ajaj has developed a strong passion for preventive care and takes an individualized approach to each patient. He believes in partnering with patients to develop personalized care plans that support their overall health and well-being, with a focus on healthy lifestyle choices, prevention, and wellness.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Ajaj enjoys spending time with his wife, Leanne, and their newborn son, Christopher, and is excited to provide care to patients local to his hometown of Oak Ridge, New Jersey.
