Kristen Creed graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with her B.S. in business and from Southern Connecticut State University with her M.S. in clinical counseling in 1997. Kristen is an internal family systems informed therapist with over 26 years of experience, who spent much of her professional career providing outpatient counseling services to individuals, groups and families dealing with a variety of mental health issues as well as neurological, cognitive and developmental disabilities. Offering clients guidance towards accessing their own internal compassion, clarity, confidence, and calmness while exploring stuck points exacerbated by experiences, inherited beliefs, and accumulated burdens from living life and trying to manage the day to day. Providing clients with gentle compassion that will promote positive change within themselves and their relationships, Kristen utilizes an integrated approach to treatment; focusing on connection to self and others while guiding clients to re-establish their own ability to manage life’s varied challenges. Safety, empowerment and connection are at the core of Kristen’s treatment. She utilizes internal family systems as well as a variety of complementary techniques to support clients who are seeking help for symptoms of anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, mood disorders, grief, and unresolved trauma.

    Kristen Creed has been an incredible source of support through some of the most challenging times in my life. She helped me navigate a major move, process deep disappointments, and care for my mother during a difficult period. After my mother’s passing, she guided me through my grief with compassion and understanding. She has also helped me reconnect with self-care and self-love in a meaningful way.
