Kevin Mickey, MD

Dr. Mickey attended The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) for his medical degree. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the UMDNJ Affiliated Eye Program – the final year as Chief Resident. Dr. Mickey received his fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Children’s Eye Care Center of NJ – Children’s Hospital of NJ. Dr. Mickey began the practice in July, 1992. He taught at UMDNJ as a Clinical Instructor in the Ophthalmology Department for several years, and is currently the Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, NJ. Dr Mickey was named as one of NJ’s Top Doctors by NJ Monthly Magazine several years running. Dr. Mickey is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a Fellow of both the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
