Hafiz Naeem, MD

Dr. Naeem is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician who completed his Sleep Medicine fellowship at Hackensack Meridian Health–JFK University Medical Center, where he received comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of sleep-related disorders.

He cares for patients with conditions including obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome (RLS), hypersomnolence disorders (including narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia), circadian rhythm disorders, parasomnias, and other sleep-related conditions.

His several years of experience in Internal Medicine provided a strong foundation in caring for patients with multiple comorbidities — allowing him to approach sleep problems from a broader perspective on a patient's overall health, rather than treating them in isolation.

Sleep Medicine is a rapidly evolving field, with new research, technologies, and treatment options emerging continuously. Dr. Naeem stays current with the latest advances so he can provide evidence-based, individualized care. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and values its role in advancing education, research, and quality care in the field.

His goal is to help patients achieve better sleep, optimize their overall health, and enjoy a better quality of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Naeem values spending time with family and maintaining a balanced lifestyle through regular exercise and sports activities.
